The Moody City Council on Feb. 28 approved a package of routine consent items by unanimous vote, including an event permit, software subscription renewal and several small equipment and supply purchases.
Joel Wallace of Oh Sherri Pub asked the council to approve an outdoor St. Patrick's Day event on March 19, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the minutes state the ABC board and the lot owner had approved the event. Council Member Nick Rutledge moved to approve the event permit; Lynn Taylor seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Other consent items approved included a RecDesk subscription renewal (vendor: RecDesk) for $4,400 charged to Contracted Services (01-526-3000); a $340 alternator repair for car #357 from Moody Auto Service (budgeted 513-4502); a $3,500 reimbursement to the Moody Police Department for a golf cart trailer (Ward Brothers) charged to capital (513-9900); purchases of uniform items from Maddie's Embroidery for $285 and uniforms from PTS Promotions for $2,300 (budgeted 01-514-4700); LED headlight conversion for E-1 and E-2 from Amazon for $300 (01-514-4502); and two hydrant gate valves from NAFCO for $800 (01-514-5400). Each motion was moved and seconded by council members as recorded in the minutes and all passed by unanimous vote.
The council closed the meeting at 6:14 p.m.
