During the Fagan 2050 workshop, staff and attendees discussed utilities and infrastructure constraints that could limit growth. Presenter and staff (speakers S3 and S1) summarized an energy study included in the plan appendix and said Ameren is working with the city on a pilot that could provide up to $5,000,000 in power capacity to the south end and industrial park; they cautioned that the project is at an early stage.
