Cheyenne County commissioners appoint delegation to meet with Xcel Energy after executive session
On March 2, 2026, the Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners appointed Commissioner RJ Jolly, Road and Bridge District 2 Foreman Travis Watson and Land Use Administrator Jerry Allen to represent the county in meetings with Xcel Energy, landowners and surveyors; the action followed an executive session for attorney legal advice under C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(b).

The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners on March 2, 2026, appointed Commissioner RJ Jolly, Road and Bridge District 2 Foreman Travis Watson and Land Use Administrator Jerry Allen to represent the county in meetings with Xcel Energy, landowners and surveyors. The motion was made by Commissioner Rick Pelton, seconded by Commissioner RJ Jolly, and passed.
