On Feb. 26, 2026, the Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners tabled consideration of a draft resolution that would temporarily modify Conditional Use Permit #2022-062 after county officials discovered work by Xcel Energy that appeared to conflict with the permit conditions, the meeting minutes show. Commissioner Jolly moved to table the resolution and Commissioner Pelton seconded; the motion passed.
