Plano ISD trustees approve termination, settlement and district policy updates in unanimous votes

At its March 10 meeting the Plano ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a set of motions including adoption of a TEA hearing examiner recommendation, termination of a probationary employee, approval of a settlement in federal court, renewal of the District of Innovation plan and adoption of TASB policy updates. Plano ISD’s Board of Trustees voted unanimously March 10 to approve several formal actions and routine items after reconvening from a closed session.
The board adopted the findings and recommendation of a Texas Education Agency independent hearing examiner in docket number 087LH122025. Board Secretary Tara Lance made the motion and Board Vice President Nancy Humphrey seconded it; President Lauren Tyra called for and recorded a unanimous vote.
