Board approves policy updates, defers ADRC budget amendment; minutes approved
The Portage County ADRC board approved updated fire-drill and weather-cancellation policies and approved February minutes by voice vote. The board deferred a proposed budget amendment/transfer request on Older Americans Act funding until later in the year to determine funding sources.

The board approved updates to building emergency and cancellation policies after a director presentation that added staff guidance for drills (carry cell phones, close doors) and set relocation to the annex at 1462 Strongs Avenue in a true emergency; HR was added to the weather-cancellation notification list. The chair called the motion, and the policy updates were approved by voice vote.
