Commissioners press staff on downtown parking, enforcement and noise concerns

Commissioner Stoker told the CRA on Dec. 1 that small downtown businesses had complained about code enforcement and repeat violations that force owners to hire attorneys. "If there are violations to be given, I'm all for the violations," Stoker said, but she urged the city to examine whether enforcement practices or charter provisions need adjustment to support longtime businesses and a vibrant downtown.
