On Jan. 6, 2026, the Boca Raton Planning & Zoning Board voted unanimously to recommend that the City Council approve an amendment to the Boca Technology Center development of regional impact (DRI) to remove about 129.6 acres from the DRI and reduce the DRI’s total area from approximately 217.5 acres to 87.9 acres.
