Fulton County approves $3,000 HAVA-funded security upgrades for elections office

Fulton County commissioners on Dec. 9 unanimously approved security upgrades for the county’s elections office, authorizing use of the 2024 HAVA (Help America Vote Act) Elections Security Grant to fund a keycard fob installation and additional cameras.
Voter Registration/Election Director Linda Doyle discussed a TelePlus quote and explained plans to add separate cameras at the Commissioners’ Office door and the Voter Registration/Election Office door. Elect IT contractor Rick Grissinger will install the cameras. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve the TelePlus keycard installation and the camera work to be funded by the HAVA grant; the motion passed with all commissioners voting in favor.
