A commissioner raised the discrepancy and suggested amending the resolution header to accurately reflect the recommendation and workshop discussions. The board deferred the item to allow staff to make technical changes and then returned to adopt Resolution 2025029 later in the meeting.
A commissioner said the resolution "reflects $11 per parcel and 25 cents an acre," and another member requested that the header properly reflect workshop conversations and the actual adopted amounts before final passage. Staff and the director confirmed the corrected language and the board adopted the resolution, setting the assessment to take effect Jan. 1, 2026.
The board asked staff to finalize the header and any technical language and return the corrected resolution for action; staff will also oversee implementation and public notification.
