At its Feb. 24 meeting the Daviess County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine items by voice vote, each announced as passing 3-0.
The board approved the Feb. 10 meeting minutes and voted to approve a consultant contract with CPC. Commissioners approved a limited-use GIS agreement allowing a student (Faith Dalton) to use county GIS layers for an academic assignment. A memorandum of understanding with Deaconess Hospital to operate twice-monthly shot clinics at the Campbellburg Road health site was approved pending legal review.
Commissioners also agreed to provide letters of recommendation for School Resource Officer award nominations (including Officer Chris Myers), appointed Jordan Bridal to the referenced board, approved UMR insurance cards for review and voted to pay payroll and claims.
Each motion was announced and seconded on the record; when motions were identified the recording noted movers and seconders (for example, several motions were announced "Motion by Commissioner Cook; second by Commissioner Gabbard"). No public comments were offered during the meeting's public-comment opportunity.
