The Boca Raton Planning & Zoning Board voted unanimously Thursday to approve site-plan amendments and a conditional-use permit that will legalize an 11,980-square-foot athletic training facility at 5801 Congress Avenue.
Senior Planner Owen Devlin told the board staff recommended approval and that the facility had been operating without conditional-use approval, prompting an open code-enforcement notice. “The applicant is currently operating at the property without a conditional use approval,” Devlin said, and staff recommended approval to bring the use into compliance and resolve the enforcement case.
