Jody McKinney, representing Environmental Health, told the Board of Health Committee that new lodging codes taking effect at the end of January will trigger a substantial increase in nitrate testing demand — more than 500 additional samples — and that the department is conducting a cost analysis to decide whether to perform testing in-house or continue sending samples to UW Oshkosh.
