On Dec. 17, 2025, the Chippewa County Central Dispatch Board of Directors heard an update that the Upper Peninsula (UP) 911 Authority expects to sign a Best and Final Offer with Tyler for a new computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system at the UP 911 Authority meeting scheduled for Dec. 29.
