At the Feb. 17 Lewiston City Council meeting, Brandon Allen of Drainage District #6 described a culvert on South Main that needs replacement and proposed that the district supply labor and equipment if the city provides pipe material. Allen estimated 60 feet of 36-inch pipe would cost roughly $3,000. The council heard the proposal but did not take formal action during the meeting.
