Cloud County commissioners appoint leadership, adopt administrative resolutions

Resolution 2025-2 designates the Concordia Blade-Empire as the county’s official newspaper; Resolution 2025-3 concerns a waiver of generally accepted accounting principles; and Resolution 2025-4 names all Cloud County banks as depositories for public funds held by the county treasurer. The board also approved Resolution 2025-5, voiding check #219894 issued May 20, 2024, for $119.34 to vendor Jack Tatro because the vendor did not receive the check.
Commissioners further approved Resolution 2025-06 appointing Commissioner Dannie Kearn to represent Cloud County on the 12th Judicial District Community Corrections/Juvenile Services Advisory Board. All motions were recorded as passed by unanimous vote on a motion from Copple and second by Kearn.
The actions taken were procedural and administrative; no dissenting votes were recorded in the transcript. The board is next scheduled to meet Jan. 20, 2025.
