Cloud County Board approves hire, petition, transfer and expenses in unanimous votes

The board approved hiring Dani Dice as a Corrections Officer I (E1), effective Sept. 2, 2025. It also approved the Request and Petition from Tom Foshee for a waterline crossing at 160th and Gold Roads.
The Board approved Transfer 2025-0825-1 to debit General/Sheriff/Contractual and credit County General/Sheriff/Vehicles for $1,190.00 to correct the fund on check #222420. The Board approved expenses totaling $150,024.84 across multiple funds, with the clerk noting the detailed expense list is available at the County Clerk’s office and the Clerk’s public records webpage. The expense breakdown recorded in the meeting includes General Fund $52,198.80; Road & Bridge $49,661.06; Special Bridge $18,558.38; Solid Waste $17,374.19; and other smaller funds totaling the stated amount.
Commissioner Ron Copple noted he had attended the Cloud County Resource Council meeting on Aug. 19. The Board approved the Aug. 18, 2025 minutes as presented and adjourned at 10:50 a.m., to meet again on Sept. 2, 2025.
Motions were moved and seconded by Commissioners Ron Copple and Dannie Kearn and recorded as unanimous; all three commissioners were present.
