Patrick Smith of KCAMP addressed the Cloud County Board of Commissioners Aug. 4 and congratulated the county for meeting the criteria for the KCAMP Risk Management Achievement Award. Smith presented an insurance refund check for $1,580.08 to the county and outlined the criteria the county met, including quarterly risk management committee representation from key departments, basic cybersecurity protocols, staff training programs, and implementation of Kansas Legal Based Jail Guidelines.
