The McCone County Board of Commissioners approved payment to TextMyGov to replace the county's Code Red notification system, citing security reasons in the meeting record. The board met with TextMyGov by phone with Keri Taylor, DES Coordinator, on Feb. 2. Commissioner Lonny Jensen moved to approve the payment; Commissioner Alan Stempel seconded and the motion passed 2-0. Commissioner Ty Taylor did not participate in the discussion, and the minutes record a 2-0 approval.
