Appling County authorizes executive-session actions including joining joint complaint on audit expenses

In executive session the board authorized up to $100,000 additional funding for a district-wide DA office audit if needed, approved joining Camden, Glynn and Wayne counties in a joint complaint about alleged expense irregularities, accepted a long-serving shop foreman's retirement, and approved an IGA with the City of Baxley for debris burn-site use.
