Kossuth County supervisors amend engineer contract to allow majority decisions
On March 17, 2026 the Kossuth County Board of Supervisors voted to amend Section 10A of the county engineer’s contract, replacing the word “unanimously” with “majority,” lowering the threshold for the specified contractual action. The contract expires June 30, 2026 and the county engineer requested required contract information from the board.

The Kossuth County Board of Supervisors voted March 17 to amend the county engineer’s contract by replacing the word “unanimously” with “majority” in Section 10A. The change was approved on a roll-call vote: Josh Waechter yes, Amber Garman no, Kyle Stecker yes, Howard Haas no, and Chairman Carter Nath yes.
