House opens session, approves journal and posts committee schedules
The Speaker called the House to order, Chaplain Tom Doherty delivered the invocation, members approved the House Journal of the third legislative day (moved by Scogg, seconded by Gannon), and the Clerk read committee meeting schedules and notices for Jan. 15–16.

The House convened and the presiding officer called the chamber to order. Chaplain Tom Doherty delivered the invocation and members stood for the Pledge of Allegiance led by Caitlin Clark of Garden Valley High School.
