On March 5 the House cleared HB 4,018, a bill described by sponsors as a set of technical and implementation fixes to last year’s campaign finance reform. Representative Bowman, the carrier, said the bill preserves the contribution limits set in prior law while shifting implementation dates for the new reporting and transparency systems and clarifying definitions for established, financed, maintained and controlled entities.
