Committee strips appropriations from House File 2740 and refers it to the general register

Chair Howard opened the meeting and moved to bring House File 2740 before the committee, saying the bill needed its appropriation components removed to be in order for referral. The committee adopted DE1 to strip those appropriation provisions and then voted to refer House File 2740, as amended, to the general register by voice vote.
