On special order the Senate took up House Bill 47 56, the South Carolina Student Physical Privacy Act, which would set standards governing privacy in school restrooms and changing facilities. After the reading clerk called the bill for third reading, senators requested a roll call. The presiding officer granted unanimous consent that members in the subcommittee upstairs be allowed to vote from the gallery.
