Raeford honors two officers for life-saving CPR response

Mayor John K. McNeill, III and the Raeford City Council recognized Officer Joshua Craig and Detective William Tart for a life-saving emergency response.
Major Ray Crumpler presented a proclamation noting that the officers exhibited exemplary conduct, quick response and professionalism in saving the life of an unconscious person. The proclamation states that the officers administered CPR and attached an AED until Hoke County EMS arrived; the council applauded and the proclamation will be placed in each officer’s personnel file.
The recognition was presented during the Nov. 4 meeting; no disciplinary or follow-up actions were recorded in the meeting minutes.
