Commissioners approve BFJRA governance changes, appoint new member
The board approved two amendments to the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreational Authority's articles to expand its board and authorize appointment of police officers, and appointed Craig Cutchall to a one-year term ending Jan. 3, 2027.

Commissioners met Dec. 30 with representatives of the Bedford Fulton Joint Recreational Authority (BFJRA) and approved two amendments to the authority's articles of incorporation. The first amendment, adopted as Resolution 9 of 2025, increases the number of board members; the second, adopted as Resolution 10 of 2025, authorizes the BFJRA to appoint police officers who would have the same rights as other Commonwealth police officers with respect to the authority's property. Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve and execute both resolutions and the motions carried "All in favor."
