Deputy Director Acland updated the Plan Commission on the zoning and subdivision code rewrite, saying the project has begun its second phase of community engagement following a joint council/plan commission presentation. He reported about 30 people attended a midday session and about 15 attended an evening session; the presentation and supporting materials were posted on the city website.
Acland said staff and consultants will return to neighborhood association meetings for feedback and plan another joint council/plan commission session in late February or March where proposed changes to setbacks and design standards will be discussed in more detail. No final proposals or formal votes were held during the Nov. 3 meeting.
