The meeting also included a slate of personnel actions: the board accepted the resignation of Mike Allen from the Planning and Zoning Board; appointed Taylor Newell to Planning and Zoning for a three‑year term; reappointed Jimmy Shanken and Leona Rozier to the Long County Development Authority; reappointed John Johnson to the Board of Assessors; reappointed Sheriff Craig Nobles and appointed Commissioner Blocker and Fire Chief Chris Moss (ex‑officio) to the Wiregrass E‑911 Board; and appointed library and facilities authority members. All of those motions passed unanimously.
