Principal reports steady enrollment, curriculum work to boost literacy and math
Principal Ann Knowles told the Scotland Board that enrollment is steady, the district will post Strategic Improvement Plans and a required School Climate Improvement Plan, and staff will focus on literacy and math interventions; family events and student activities were also highlighted.

Principal Ann Knowles reported to the Scotland Board on Nov. 4 that enrollment is within last year’s totals, with two out-of-town PreK families paying tuition to remain in the district. She said 12 sixth-graders will graduate this year, down from 14 the previous year.
