The Calhoun County Independent School District Board of Trustees approved a district certification transition plan for school years 2025–2026 through 2029–2030 at the Jan. 20 meeting.
Staff explained that districts that have used a District of Innovation (DOI) to gain certification exemptions face new, phased limitations under recent statutory changes tied to House Bill 2.
