Stewart County board confirms appointments, accepts resignations and selects Streetscape engineer
Commissioners reappointed two Housing Authority members, appointed a commissioner to the Pataula Transit Board, accepted two elections-board resignations, appointed two new elections-board members (one commissioner did not cast a vote), and selected ESG as the Streetscape Project engineer.

The Stewart County Board of Commissioners approved a series of administrative appointments and procedural items on Aug. 13. Commissioner Joe Lee Williams moved to reappoint Nancy Richardson to the Housing Authority for a one-year term through Aug. 31, 2025, and to reappoint Shirley Perrymond to a five-year term through Aug. 31, 2029; Commissioner Tyrone Nelson seconded and both motions carried.
