The amendment aims to reduce interpretation issues for staff and applicants when signage is proposed for second-story spaces or lease spaces that do not face a street.
Council members asked about definitions for terms such as road frontage and main exterior entrance; staff said some definitions exist in the code and additional clarifications could be added in a later revision if needed. The council voted to adopt the ordinance as written.
