Chairman Nielsen asked members to support House Resolution 423, which recognizes April 20–24, 2026 as National Work Zone Awareness Week in Pennsylvania. Nielsen highlighted that 93 PennDOT employees have died in the line of duty since 1970 and urged drivers to slow down and obey work-zone signage.
