Ike Operational Board approves $1,150 radio programming quote for Maywood Fire; minutes accepted

The Ike Operational Board voted 3–0 on Wednesday to approve a $1,150 quote from Alpha Prime for radio equipment and programming for the Maywood Fire Department and to accept minutes from the board’s Dec. 17, 2025 meeting, the Clerk said.

The board convened at 10:07 a.m. and, after a roll call confirming a quorum, Chief Thomas Mills moved to approve the Dec. 17 minutes; Commander Donna Lewis seconded. The Clerk called the roll: Chief Matt Martin, Commander Donna Lewis and Chief Thomas Mills voted yes; several members were recorded absent. The Clerk announced the motion carried 3–0.

The board then considered one expense item: a quoted $1,150 purchase from vendor Alpha Prime described in the agenda as for Maywood Fire Department “radios and programming.” Commander Donna Lewis moved to approve the Alpha Prime quote; Chief Thomas Mills seconded. The Clerk called the roll and again announced the motion passed 3–0.
