Mayor Moore recounted a conversation with a resident who, while riding a golf cart, asked, "so what's Kewanee doing with all that money?" He responded by inviting residents to review the city budget and council packets, stating that every expenditure is accounted for and packets are available online and in council materials.
The council received the mayor's report as an informational item; no formal action on the sales numbers was taken at the meeting.
