Photos shown to the board highlighted learning stairs, connector areas, and progress on façade and glazing. The presenter also described district plans to standardize HVAC and building‑controls technology being piloted at the new high school so that maintenance and operating costs can be reduced when systems are replicated across roughly 75 percent of district buildings.
From a financial perspective, the presenter said the project remains within the guaranteed maximum price (GMP) and that about 62 percent of construction costs remain in the work‑in‑progress pipeline (finishes and FF&E). The team also noted that about a 4 percentage‑point difference in completion equates to roughly $2–2.5 million in spend pacing at this stage.
