The Mesquite City Council on Dec. 9 delayed action on Resolution R25‑044, which would assign remaining surplus proceeds from Canyon Crest Special Improvement District (SID) bond payoff for distribution. City staff explained statutory deductions and exempt uses and estimated approximately $580,420 would be available for return to parcel holders after required statutory transfers and administrative costs.
