Board narrows Weston Avenue speed-limit changes after split vote

Trustees debated Ordinance 26-006, which would amend Chapter 82.6 of the Village code to change speed limits on segments of Weston Avenue. Public works and engineering recommendations supporting a 35 mph design speed were discussed, but several trustees said they preferred retaining 45 mph on portions designed for higher speeds.
