Board narrows Weston Avenue speed-limit changes after split vote

One trustee said the road was originally designed for 40 mph and preferred a 40–45 mph standard for certain stretches. The board recorded multiple 'no' votes on the original motion and then voice and roll-call support for the amended ordinance.
The ordinance as amended will stand except for the restored 45-mph stretch; trustees noted the ordinance affects multiple other local speed-limit adjustments in the village.
