Commissioners heard that Skill's instructors will move to the schools as part of a CTE transition, discussed ownership and maintenance of donated equipment, and voted to request last year's audits and financial documents from the Stark County Economic Development Foundation.

Commissioners discussed the ongoing transition of Skill programs into the schools' career-and-technical-education (CTE) structure. Officials said two Skill instructors will become school employees Aug. 1 and that adult-workforce modules will be scheduled when CTE equipment is not in use.
