CRA approves draft fiscal 2025 annual report emphasizing centennial theme

The Martin County Community Redevelopment Agency voted to accept the draft CRA fiscal 2025 annual report and directed staff to finalize it for publication by the statutory posting deadline.
A CRA staff member described the annual report as “Threads of the past, pathways to the future,” noting the design choice reflects Martin County’s centennial and includes historical photos, two-page spreads for each CRA area, and a section on recently adopted architectural design standards. “This year, we went with the theme of centennial since it was Martin County's 1 hundredth birthday,” the staff member said.
The draft includes project lists, projects under construction and completed projects, finances formatted per statutory guidance, a new page on architectural design standards adopted in 2025, awards, and contact information. Designer Will Dolan was credited for the layout and final design work.
Staff reminded the board the statute requires the CRA annual report be posted on the website by the 30th; board members asked for the ability to make further edits during the week. A motion was made, seconded and approved to move forward with the draft and publish it on the CRA site, allowing for subsequent minor amendments.
The finalized report will be posted on the CRA website by the stated deadline and brought back to the board if additional substantive changes are needed.
