Red River Valley Wildfire Academy reports 353 attendees from seven states
At Wichita County’s March 24 meeting, a presenter from the Red River Valley Wildfire Academy told commissioners the academy ran 20 classes, registered 428 students and recorded 353 attendees from seven states; volunteers and departments across the region supported the training.

Dwayne, speaking during the public comment period at the Wichita County Commissioners Court on March 24, said the Red River Valley Wildfire Academy ran 20 classes and saw strong regional participation. “So we had, 20 classes that we provided out there at the academy,” he said.
