At the Jan. 9 meeting, the Detroit City Council approved several procedural actions and directed staff follow-up on two matters attendees linked to the day's testimony: a request that the Detroit Police Department compile a report on city contracts that allow data sharing with third parties, and a set of walk-on resolutions that included a proclamation recognizing January as Human Trafficking Prevention Month.
