District reports gains on state tests; staff previews English‑learner master plan
Director Kate Sprague presented preliminary CAASPP, math and science results showing gains (ELA 83%, math 79%, science 75%) and described targets and processes for English‑learner identification, assessment (ELPAC) and reclassification. Trustees pressed for subgroup analysis and curriculum alignment to address persistent gaps.
