The Judiciary Committee on Monday advanced House Bill 1088, the legislature’s annual technical corrections bill, after a brief presentation from the sponsor and a unanimous roll call. Representative Pierce told the committee the measure implements 21 non‑substantive corrections identified by the Code Revision Committee and “can only make technical corrections” that do not change the substance of the law.
