District recognizes Jodie McCann for nearly 17 years leading senior services

General Manager Stephanie Stanley presented a retirement recognition for Jodie McCann, who will retire at the end of the year after nearly 17 years with the Highlands Ranch Metropolitan District.
Stanley said McCann joined the district in early 2009 as a part-time resource coordinator for senior services and played a central role expanding programming and connecting seniors with financial planning, health care and safety resources. Stanley read a statement from former Public Works Director Jeff Case praising McCann’s contributions and noting that the recently completed Highlands Ranch Senior Center stands as a milestone of the program she helped build. McCann thanked staff and the community for their support and expressed pride in the program’s growth.
Board members thanked McCann for her years of service.
