Mansion staff highlight steady visitor numbers, events and booking volume

Historic Programs Coordinator Susie Appleby said open hours drew about 4,400 visitors in 2024 and described the docent and greeter program required to support public access. Event Coordinator Courtney Smith reported roughly 1,253 inquiries in 2024, 278 tours and 100 signed rental agreements, and explained the logistics of event coordination, including staff scheduling and vendor management. Event associates Madison Drab and Christina Perlinger described the eight-week production timeline for private events, client walkthroughs, event orders, liquor-license coordination and day-of coordination.
Board members asked operational questions and thanked staff for the mansion’s continued success as a historic and community asset.
