Staff reports first draft modules of unified development code are under review

At the end of the meeting planning staff provided a brief update on the city's development-code rewrite. Greg Collins said the consultant Friese and Nichols has submitted draft Modules 1 and 2 of a unified land development code and staff is reviewing those preliminary sections. "Staff has received from the consultant, Friese and Nichols, first draft of modules 1 and 2 of the draft, updated, land development code," Collins said, adding staff expects to return comments and edits in a couple of weeks.
No action was required by the commission on the code update during this meeting; staff will continue review and bring further materials back to the commission as appropriate.
