House adopts joint resolution setting weekend adjournment and reconvene schedule
The House adopted JRS 48 in concurrence, directing that when the two houses adjourn on April 10, 2026, they meet again no later than April 14, 2026; action was taken by voice vote with no roll-call recorded.

The reading clerk read Joint Resolution JRS 48, which states in part: "Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives that when the two houses adjourn on Friday, 04/10/2026, it'd be to meet again no later than Tuesday, 04/14/2026." After the reading, the presiding officer called the question and members responded by voice vote. The presiding officer announced that the ayes had it and that the resolution was adopted in concurrence.
